Barbara Black has proven herself out in the Montgomery County restaurant market through over eight years of ownership of Addie's Restaurant and Black's Bar and Kitchen. With a degree from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park N.Y. she has garnered the skills to execute and supervise quality food production. Her hands on experience of handling the back office operations of a five million dollar a year restaurant company will make her an invaluable asset to the new ventures. As a native Washingtonian she has an in depth understanding of the nuances of the local market place. Barbara's newest restaurant is Black Market Bistro located in Garrett Park, MD.
Jon Linck, Director of Operations, for Black Restaurant Group L.L.C., oversees the daily operations of Addie's and Black's Bar and Kitchen, Black Market Bistro and BlackSalt. Barbara and Jeff Black realizing his potential have elevated him to this equity position to facilitate and assist in the growth of their company. Through Jon's tenure with the Black's he has garnered a strong understanding of the commitment and expectations they have for themselves, their employees and their restaurants. Mr. Linck's prior history of management was with Clyde's Restaurant Group. His experience with them as they rose to become one of the major players in the Washington market will be invaluable to existing and future projects. His reputation as a no nonsense manager garners him a wide respect in the industry and will further propel the management teams at all the Black Restaurant Group properties.
Jeff Black has established himself as a force in the Washington D.C. marketplace through a lifetime of commitment to the restaurant industry. Addie's and Black's Bar and Kitchen are routinely recognized by critics and Guests alike as two of the top restaurants in the area. Through years of dedication and hard work Mr. Black has built a team around which will afford him the resources to expand and grow his management company Black Restaurant Group, which he owns and operates with his wife Barbara Black and Jon Linck. BlackSalt Fish Market and Restaurant in conjunction with Black Market Bistro are the newest restaurants in the development of the company.
